How does Reiki Heal?
The Reiki healing technique can initiate a cleansing process that impacts both the physical body and the emotional state. Toxins stored in the body may be released alongside outdated feelings and thought patterns.
A free and balanced flow of Ki is essential for health. Ki animates the physical organs and tissues as it flows through them, nourishing the body's organs and cells to support vital functions. When the flow of Ki is obstructed, it leads to a decrease in the functioning of one or more organs and tissues. Thus, disruption in the flow of Ki is a primary cause of illness.
During Reiki sessions, the Rei or God Conscious aspect of the energy evaluates where blocks exist and directs healing energy, often to the nearest blockage at the hands. The Reiki energy works with negative thoughts and feelings that hinder the natural flow of Ki, promoting healing. By circulating through the affected areas of the energy field and infusing them with positive energy, Reiki elevates the vibratory level in and around the physical body, where negative emotions are anchored. This process helps break apart and dissipate denser negative energy. Reiki clears and heals the energy pathways, allowing healthy Ki to flow naturally. Sometimes, the blocking energy is lifted to a higher field of energy for processing; other times, it is simply melted away or burned up.

Comprehensive Reiki Teacher Training Program
We are developing a comprehensive Reiki training program designed to empower practitioners to deepen their practice and effectively teach and attune others at all levels (1, 2, and 3). Our vision is to build an inclusive community of Reiki practitioners where we co-learn, co-create, and co-build unique methods grounded in the lineage passed down to us.
Together, we evolve the Reiki healing technique into a way of life shaped by collective growth and shared wisdom.
Our program honors the traditional foundations of Reiki while providing a clear, expansive path for those drawn to teach and share Reiki sessions with others. Drawing from the wisdom of our teachers and our own experiences, we’re creating something that is authentic, flexible, and deeply transformative.
The Path to Teaching Reiki
To teach the Reiki healing technique at Level 1, you will first need to learn the attunement process, which is covered in Level 3 training. Additionally, it is important to observe a Level 1 class to gain practical experience as well as to witness the attunement process in action during Reiki sessions.
For those keen to teach Reiki at Level 2, we will offer a 'Master Teacher' class along with attunement in the Spring of 2025, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to guide others through this next stage of their Reiki training journey.
Lastly, for individuals aspiring to teach Reiki at Level 3, we will be providing a 'Master of Masters' class and attunement in the summer of 2026, empowering you to step into the highest level of Reiki mastery, both as a practitioner and an instructor.
The Power of Attunements
Reiki attunements are powerful energetic activations that enhance your capacity to channel energy and create a supportive space for others during Reiki sessions. Each attunement strengthens and expands your energetic skin, deepening your connection to the Reiki healing technique and improving your ability to facilitate healing. Additionally, these attunements foster a profound connection between you and those who are being attuned alongside you, making this experience of growth and expansion deeply communal and transformative as part of your Reiki training.
An Evolving Mystery School
Unlike other healing modalities, the Reiki healing technique is not a standardized path. It is a “Mystery School,” a way of life that continuously evolves with each practitioner’s journey. Mystery schools focus on uncovering the inner mysteries of life, the universe, and the self. They often involve rituals, initiations, meditations, and other spiritual practices that help participants connect with higher states of consciousness, spiritual truths, and the divine. Through Reiki sessions, the teachings offer esoteric knowledge about energy, healing, the soul, and universal laws.
In modern contexts, the term 'mystery school' refers to any spiritual practice or person that follows these ancient traditions of personal and collective spiritual evolution, emphasizing experiential knowledge over intellectual understanding. This aligns closely with the principles taught in Reiki training, where the journey of discovery is both personal and profound.
Individual Path
There is no single “set way” to practice or teach the Reiki healing technique. While the foundation of Reiki is grounded in traditional wisdom passed down through our lineage, the practice itself is deeply personal and ever-evolving. Each practitioner’s journey, including their Reiki sessions, is shaped not only by these teachings but also by their unique experiences, inner guidance, and spiritual insights. Reiki offers the flexibility to explore different approaches—whether blending it with other healing modalities, developing personal rituals, or adhering closely to traditional practices. As you progress through your Reiki training, your relationship with Reiki will deepen, leading you to discover your own path within the practice.
For those who desire more formal recognition, you have the option to register with organizations like the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) or the International Center of Reiki Professionals (ICRP), or The Reiki Alliance.
Ongoing Support and Development
Our program fosters a supportive community of Reiki practitioners and teachers dedicated to the Reiki healing technique. We aim to offer ongoing support through:
Workshops and Refresher Courses: Regularly scheduled workshops designed to enhance teaching skills, keep participants informed about new developments in Reiki, and deepen their personal practice through structured Reiki sessions.
Reiki Share Circles: These circles provide a platform for new and experienced Reiki teachers to share experiences, confront challenges, and celebrate successes, while continuously learning from each other.
