How does Reiki Heal?
Reiki can start a cleansing process that affects the physical body as well as the mind and emotions. Toxins that have been stored in the body may be released along with feelings and thought patterns that are no longer useful.
The free and balanced flow of Ki is the cause of health. It is Ki that animates the physical organs and tissues as it flows through them. Ki nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in the vital functions. When the flow of Ki is disrupted, it causes a diminished functioning within one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. Therefore, it is the disruption in the flow of Ki that is the main cause of illness.
When a person receives a Reiki treatment, the Rei or God Conscious part of the energy assesses where the person has blocks and then directs the healing energy, usually to block that is nearest the hands. The Reiki energy then works with the negative thoughts and feelings that are blocking one's natural flow of Ki and heals them as well. By flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy, Reiki raises the vibratory level in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative, denser energy to break apart and fall away. Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing healthy Ki to flow in a natural way. Sometimes the entire blocking energy is lifted up to a higher field of energy where it is processed. Other times, it is melted away or burned up.

Join us for Advanced Reiki Master Training. This training incorporates level 1 & 2 experience and introduces the use of crystals and stones with Reiki. You will become a certified Usui Tibetan Reiki Master after completing this attunement.

Comprehensive Reiki Teacher Training Program
We are developing a comprehensive Reiki training program designed to empower practitioners not only to deepen their practice but also to teach and attune others at all levels (1, 2, and 3). Our vision is to build an inclusive community of Reiki practitioners, where we co-learn, co-create, and co-build unique methods rooted in the lineage passed down to us.
Together, we evolve Reiki into a way of life shaped by collective growth and shared wisdom.
Our program honors the traditional foundations of Reiki while providing a clear, expansive path for those who feel called to teach and share Reiki with others. Drawing from the wisdom of our teachers and our own experiences, we’re building something that is authentic, flexible, and deeply transformative.
The Path to Teaching Reiki
To teach Reiki Level 1, you will first need to learn the attunement process, which is covered in Level 3 training. You will also be required to observe a Level 1 class to gain practical experience and observe and witness the attunement process.
To teach Reiki Level 2, we will offer a “Master Teacher” class and attunement in the Spring of 2025, designed to give you the skills and confidence to guide others through this next stage of their Reiki journey.
For those wishing to teach Reiki Level 3, we will offer a “Master of Masters” class and attunement in the summer of 2025, empowering you to step into the highest level of Reiki mastery, both as a practitioner and a teacher.
The Power of Attunements
Reiki attunements are powerful energetic activations that expand your capacity to channel energy and hold space for others. Each attunement strengthens and expands your energetic skin, deepening your connection to Reiki and your ability to facilitate healing. Attunements also create a profound connection between you and those being attuned alongside you, making this experience of growth and expansion deeply communal and transformative.
An Evolving Mystery School
Unlike other healing modalities, Reiki is not a standardized path. It is a “Mystery School,” a way of live, continuously evolving with each practitioner’s journey. Mystery schools focus on uncovering the inner mysteries of life, the universe, and the self. They often involve rituals, initiations, meditations, and other spiritual practices that help participants connect with higher states of consciousness, spiritual truths, and the divine. The teachings offer esoteric knowledge about energy, healing, the soul, and universal laws.
In modern contexts, the term "mystery school" refers to any spiritual practice/person that follows these ancient traditions of personal and collective spiritual evolution, emphasizing experiential knowledge over intellectual understanding.
Individual Path
There is no single “set way” to practice or teach Reiki. While the foundation of Reiki is grounded in traditional wisdom passed down through our lineage, the practice itself is deeply personal and ever-evolving. Each practitioner’s journey is shaped not only by these teachings but also by their unique experiences, inner guidance, and spiritual insights. Reiki offers the flexibility to explore different approaches—whether blending it with other healing modalities, developing personal rituals, or adhering closely to traditional practices. As you progress, your relationship with Reiki will deepen, and you will naturally discover your own path within the practice.
For those who desire more formal recognition, you have the option to register with organizations like the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) or the International Center of Reiki Professionals (ICRP), or The Reiki Alliance.
Ongoing Support and Development
Our program fosters a supportive community of Reiki practitioners and teachers. We aim to offer ongoing support through:
Workshops and Refresher Courses: Regularly scheduled workshops to refine teaching skills, stay updated on new developments in Reiki, and deepen personal practice.
Reiki Share Circles: Circles where new and experienced Reiki teachers can share experiences, challenges, and successes, and continue to learn from one another.
Advanced Reiki Studies: Opportunities to study advanced topics such as Reiki for specific conditions, working with chakras, and combining Reiki with other healing modalities.
